Rhode Island Hideaways was founded by a mother and daughter who love to travel, but want to relax and enjoy life, too.
While on the international executive circuit for a large company, our family lived in nine countries and visited over 50. In the process we spent years in resorts, hotels and furnished short term-rentals. So, we’ve come to know what we think makes the perfect vacation rental.
We like to be in the middle of everything – historic sites, good food in lovely settings, beautiful natural scenery, shopping. We also like to be near enough to the sea to swim, boat, or sit on the shore and watch the waves. Then we want to be able to return to quiet, picturesque surroundings and relax or cook in our comfortable, yet unique and luxurious home. All without driving more than 10 minutes.
